Name: Max Bucaille
Year of Birth & Death: (1906 - ?)
Biography: First and foremost a mathematician and collagist, he also painted on glass. He became a member of the Surrealist group in 1947, and has since been described as only second to Max Ernst in “nocturnal imagery.” His better known works include The Cries of Enchantment (1939) and the Dream Scanner (1950).
