He taught himself to paint, and went to live in Paris in 1964. His first solo exhibition did not take place there until 1972, though he had originally shown his paintings in Madrid and Central America.
He is known for his mix or fantasy and eroticism, which is evident in such paintings as “The Marquis of the Angels Travels in Spring” and “Double Dream Maker” (1971).
